Economy & Progression
CobbleClub uses PokéDollars and Gems as its main custom progression currencies. They are deliberately earned in different ways and are used by different server systems.
Starting balance
| Currency | New player | General role |
|---|---|---|
| PokéDollars | 400 | Main gameplay currency and purchases. |
| Gems | 5 | Slower progression currency tied to special systems such as claim progression. |
Guaranteed playtime income
| Reward | Rate |
|---|---|
| Gems | +2 every 30 minutes of playtime |
| PokéDollars | +150 per hour of playtime |
This means simply playing advances your account even when you are building, exploring or organizing Pokémon rather than directly farming rewards.
Pokémon catch rewards
CobbleClub connects Pokémon collecting to the economy. Confirmed special-catch rewards include:
| Catch | PokéDollar reward |
|---|---|
| Shiny Pokémon | +400 |
| Legendary Pokémon | +800 |
Other catch/progression rewards may exist, but values that are not fully finalized are intentionally not published here as guarantees.
Death
The configured CobbleClub economy includes a 100 PokéDollar death penalty. Keep this in mind when carrying out dangerous exploration or other high-risk activities.
Checking your balance
This is the primary confirmed player-facing balance command.
Gems and claims
New players begin with 700 claim blocks. Gems are part of the progression path for acquiring additional claim capacity, allowing active players to protect increasingly large builds over time.
Kits and cooldown reduction
Rank kits operate on cooldowns. CobbleClub's kit system includes an economy-based cooldown-reduction mechanic with limits, rather than allowing unlimited kit claims. See the Kits & Ranks page for the actual kit contents.
Crates and voting
Vote, Shiny and Legendary crates form another reward path. Vote rewards are intentionally earned rather than bought through the same Gems purchase option used by the premium crate types. Crates can contain useful gameplay rewards and collectibles.
How should a new player use money?
Early on, prioritize things that improve your ability to explore, catch Pokémon and establish a safe base. As your account becomes established, currency can go toward convenience, collection goals, cosmetics and other progression systems instead of basic survival.
